About
Brisa C. Steimle
Brisa Steimle (b. 2005) was born into an artistic family whose love for travel and exploration greatly influences her creative expression. She grew up in a home where the walls were covered with art from multiple generations on both sides of her family and gatherings usually involve making music together. Whether it’s live-air painting with her grandfather, watercolor with her grandmother, sketching and block-printing with her dad, or studying one of her great-grandmother’s paintings trying to decipher her color mixing mysteries, art is just what you do. Her dad builds musical instruments in his home studio, so she has grown up surrounded by incredible musicians, whether in the halls of music festivals or at live concerts in her backyard. She was born in Ecuador, South America, and has visited at least 15 countries in her 18 years of life, including her most recent trip to Italy where she was deeply inspired by some of the great artwork she saw. She definitely inherited the desire to travel from her parents but also the passion for helping those in need. She has a compassionate heart to help others.
She recently graduated with her Associates Degree from Olympic College in Bremerton, Washington. This is where her passion grew as she focused on as many art classes as she could squeeze in. The years of being surrounded by art has taken ahold of her and she has found her talent in a variety of mediums, constantly pushing herself to new limits. She currently lives in Port Orchard, Washington and plans to continue studying art, wherever that takes her.
